Imagine about 50 years from now, your not yet born grandchild is walking across their college campus and meets someone.
The person asks their name and your grandchild replies with their name.
The new found acquaintance says “Oh, are you related to ___(fill in your name)___?”. This person obviously knows who you are and is querying to see if there is a connection.
I want you to propel yourself into the mind of your unborn relatives. Will they be proud to answer “YES!” or will they be worried about the consequences of mentioning they are related to you?
We need to be grateful for those who have come before us and remember the actions we take will reflect on our family members of the future.
